It happens to everyone. Here's how to get back in.
Use a magic link
AMP doesn't send password-reset emails — a magic link does the same job and gets you in faster:
- Go to the sign-in page and enter your email.
- Press Continue.
- Choose Email me a sign-in link.
- Open the email and press Sign in.
You're back in your account, no password needed. Full details in Signing in with a magic link.
You can keep using magic links indefinitely if you like — plenty of members never type a password again.
Setting a new password
Changing your password in Settings asks for your current password first — that's what keeps someone who wanders up to an unlocked laptop from taking over your account.
So if your old password is genuinely gone, sign in with a magic link and then contact support. We'll help you get a fresh one set.
Choosing a good one
When you do set a new password, pick something long and unique to AMP. The strength meter on the form will nudge you along, and a password manager makes the whole problem disappear.
