BILL MATTOCKS and THE STRUT

 We are a six piece music ensemble comprised of drums, electric bass, keyboards, electric guitars, harmonicas and singers. We perform tight well thought out music that is great to listen  and  dance to.  With three lead singers we focus on interesting vocals and wonderful harmonies backed by the best in instrumentation. We carefully select our music and are constantly adding new tunes to our songlist. 

Starting our musical life in 2003 as The Bill Mattocks Band in the Pacific Northwest we became one of the top draw bands in the general Seattle area until 2013 when Bill relocated to the Mountains of North Carolina, settling in Asheville. Bill reformed the Bill Mattocks Band here and after finding the right balance of players and material we changed the name to Bill Mattocks and The Strut. We are one of the more popular performance bands in the region appearing often at the better venues of Western North Carolina.
