The Riftshifters formed in 2015 east of Asheville, NC. We mostly play original material, written by our members Robert Akers and Jay Whitham, but sprinkle in some selected covers. We call what we play social justice rock and roll, because our message is one of inclusivity and love. Other members are Deb Skolnik, Jeff Skolnik and Lindsey Costner.
