MandoCyn, The Pimps of Pompe, The Knockin’ Boots

MandoCyn pushes the envelope of what is possible with the mandolin.  Her solo performances present a dynamic mix of jazz, honky tonk, hip hop and original songs, with powerhouse vocals matched by sophisticated mandolin work.  She also leads two bands in Asheville, Miss Cindy & The Knockin’ Boots, a classic country and honky tonk group, and The Pimps of Pompe, a PostModern-Jukebox style innovative blend of hip-hop and gypsy jazz.  She is also a member of local supergroup GypsyGrass, and can be seen on stage with many local greats like Queen Bee & The Honeylovers, The Saylor Brothers, Steve Karla and the Hot Club of Asheville.
