When it comes to recording, mixing, and producing music, my highest priority is to serve the song, the session, and the artist. I’m all about letting the take speak for itself, only using a subtle guiding hand when needed. I record and save everything. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. My recording style consists of utilizing all of the available space and committing to outboard inserts when tracking. Your sound is the driving force for my decisions in the control room.
