Erin Minta

Originally from Keezletown, Virginia, Erin has been playing and writing music since she was a kid. Erin currently lives in Western North Carolina. Erin loves singing lead, harmony, playing rhythm guitar, and writing original songs. She grew up playing bluegrass and old time, and singing traditional ballads. She has a deep love for old country music and for bold, truth-telling, storytelling songwriters like Sineád O’Connor, Tracy Chapman, Patty Griffin, and Dolly Parton. Her voice is strong, honest, clear, and the most common compliment she’s gotten has been that it‘s “angelic” (she still not sure what to think of that one…). Erin has toured on the East Coast and in Ireland. She’s getting back into performing after taking time off to go back to school and have a kid. She’s hoping to connect with other musicians, line up more gigs, and to get support in sharing her music.
