Montreal native, lived in Asheville since 2008. Production Manager for Asheville Music Hall (2016-2023) and Good Flow Productions since 2010, where I've produced and collaborated with dozens of Asheville and regional artists. Expanded to Erwin TN in 2021 with Good Flow Recording, a live/work creative space and full service recording studio designed to "feel like home."
Personal projects include Waxing Gibbous (funk, Neo-soul), Space Medicine (ambient improv), Silver Machine (space rock, psychedelic), Hope Griffin (folk, Americana), Abby Bryant & the Echoes (soul, rock), with whom I’ve recorded numerous albums and played hundreds of shows around Asheville and throughout the southeast. Other Asheville collaborations as a bassist include a Tom Waits tribute with Stevie Lee Combs, jazz combos with Dan Keller, Albi Podrizki, Michael John Marx Jr, founding member of the Sun-Ra inspired Seraphim Arkistra (ambient, improvisational), a years long live-looping residency with space jazz trio The Mystic Ferrymen, and seasonal engagements playing tuba with Asheville 2nd Line, and the Lagerhosen Polka Party Band.
I have an academic background in jazz studies and musical theater, am open to session work and live engagements on bass and tuba, and available to produce, engineer, or otherwise collaborate on your next project.
